I built this as a personal side project and wanted to share it.
When traveling, we take lots of photos, but there aren’t many services that clearly show
“where I’ve actually been and how much I’ve explored”
based on the map itself.
Google Maps is more focused on saving places,
and it doesn’t really feel like an exploration record.
So I decided to build a map-based exploration tracking service myself.
Here’s how it works:
- The areas you travel to are revealed like map tiles lighting up
- Your movement history remains like an exploration log
- It records your journey in a slightly game-like way
You can freely browse the map without logging in.
Login is only required when you start exploring and want to save your records.
It’s still in beta, and I’m continuously improving features.
I’d really appreciate feedback on UX, anything confusing, or inconvenient parts.
