XPOT Points Policy
This Policy explains how “XPOT Points” (off-chain, in-service credits) and optional “XPOT Tokens” (on-chain XPOT) work in NEWBL Spots, including rules on earning, use, and on-chain conversion (mint/burn). XPOT Points are non-cash service credits. The Company does not provide cash redemption, buyback, sale, or price guarantees for XPOT Points or XPOT Tokens. This Policy may be updated depending on applicable laws and service operations.
Article 1 (Definitions and Nature)
(1) “XPOT Points (off-chain)” are non-cash in-service points (service credits) recorded in your NEWBL Spots account and may be used to pay for features determined by the Company. (2) “XPOT Tokens (on-chain XPOT)” are tokens that may be minted/burned on designated blockchain networks and smart contracts. On-chain custody/transfer/trading follow blockchain rules; the Company is not a party to those transactions. (3) “On-chain Conversion” means (i) debiting XPOT Points (off-chain) and minting the same amount of XPOT Tokens to your wallet address upon your request, or (ii) crediting XPOT Points (off-chain) to the corresponding account after your on-chain burn is confirmed. (4) XPOT Points are not guaranteed to have the legal nature of cash/deposits/e-money/crypto assets, and the Company does not guarantee any market value/liquidity/price formation of XPOT Tokens.
Article 2 (Earning XPOT Points)
(1) XPOT Points may be earned through Company-defined activities (e.g., posting a spot in a new area and passing manual review). The crediting time may be after conditions are met. (2) The Company may apply operational rules such as daily earning limits, land/area rules, review criteria, credit timing, and amounts, which may be announced in-service. (3) Earning may be restricted and credited points may be reversed/adjusted in cases of abnormal use, policy/Terms violations, errors, or suspected abuse.
Article 3 (Using XPOT Points)
(1) Users may use XPOT Points to access/purchase certain in-service features (e.g., ad placement, feature access) as determined by the Company. (2) Points may be deducted immediately when usage is confirmed. (3) If you do not have enough Points, the relevant feature/purchase may not be available. (4) Used Points are generally non-refundable. The Company may exceptionally adjust in reasonable cases such as system errors.
Article 4 (On-chain Conversion: Mint/Burn of XPOT Tokens)
(1) (Off-chain → On-chain) Upon your request, and subject to internal rules and review/operational criteria, the Company may debit XPOT Points (off-chain) and mint an equivalent amount of XPOT Tokens to your wallet address. (2) (On-chain → Off-chain) If you burn XPOT Tokens via the designated method and such burn is confirmed on-chain, the Company may credit XPOT Points (off-chain) to the corresponding account. (3) Network fees (gas) may apply. Timing and fee responsibility may vary depending on network conditions and Company policies. (4) The Company does not monitor or intervene in your on-chain activities and, absent willful misconduct or gross negligence, is not liable for losses arising from on-chain usage (wrong address/network, key loss, phishing, third-party services, smart contract issues, or network failures). (5) The Company may restrict, delay, or suspend conversion and add checks for legal compliance, sanctions/risk management, abuse prevention, and system stability.
Article 5 (No Cash Redemption/Buyback & Limitation of Responsibility)
(1) XPOT Points and XPOT Tokens are not redeemable for cash and are not bought back by the Company; you may not claim monetary payment from the Company. (2) The Company does not sell XPOT Points for money, nor guarantee price/profit for XPOT Points/Tokens. (3) Except where mandatory laws apply, the Company is not responsible for losses due to account loss, access loss, third-party compromise, or user fault. (4) The Company may correct erroneous credit/debit of XPOT Points due to system errors within a reasonable scope.
Article 6 (Reversal/Expiration/Suspension & Policy Changes)
(1) If Points were credited by mistake or through fraud/Terms violations, the Company may reverse them or restrict their use. (2) The Company may introduce expiration, usage restrictions, conversion restrictions/suspension, and will announce timing/criteria in advance by reasonable means. (3) The Company may update this Policy within the scope permitted by law; continued use after notice constitutes consent to the updated Policy. (4) The Company may, for service operations, add, modify, or discontinue features/products/services that can be used with XPOT Points, and may change the XPOT Point amounts/prices required for such features. Such changes may affect the market price/value of XPOT Tokens, and the Company does not guarantee market price, liquidity, tradability, or any expected profits. Except where mandatory law applies, you may not claim refunds/compensation/damages from the Company for losses arising from such changes or market price fluctuations.
